Delete your account and data
You can delete your Relicly account and personal data whenever you want, in two ways.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open Relicly and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap the cog (Settings).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account Permanently.
- Confirm your identity (with your password; for Google accounts you must have signed in recently) and confirm the deletion. If you like, tell us why: it is optional and is stored anonymously, not linked to your account.
Option 2: on request (if you no longer have the app)
E-mail suporte@nexoriontech.pt with the subject "Delete Relicly account", from the e-mail address of the account, stating your username. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We delete the account within 30 days at most, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your profile (username, name, bio, photo) and your sign-in account.
- Your e-mail, date of birth and notification identifiers.
- Your points, levels, badges, quests and all visits, including check-in positions.
- Your conversations and messages, who you follow and who follows you, and the users you blocked.
- Automatic-moderation records linked to you.
What may be kept for a while
- Reports involving you: up to 12 months after they are resolved, to protect others and defend rights, and then deleted.
- Backups: the daily database backup, kept for 30 days, may contain the data for up to 30 days after you delete your account. Our other providers (such as Google) may keep technical copies for a limited period until overwritten.
- What the law requires us to keep, if any.
Deletion is permanent: we cannot recover the account, points or conversations. If you only want to hide your profile from others, you can make it private in Settings.
